2023 Star Wars Luke Skywalker & Princess Leia – 50p Colour Silver Proof | The Royal Mint
Two of Star Wars' most iconic characters, captured in colour on an official sterling silver proof coin from The Royal Mint.
Issued in 2023 to mark the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, this officially licensed UK 50p features Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, with Luke holding his famous blue lightsaber. A special lenticular design changes appearance as the coin is tilted. The obverse bears Martin Jennings' portrait of King Charles III.
This is the 8g .925 sterling silver colour proof edition, not the more common base-metal Brilliant Uncirculated release. Supplied with its original Royal Mint Star Wars presentation materials, it makes a striking addition to a modern silver proof or sci-fi collection.
