2024 Star Wars Death Star II 50p Colour Silver Proof Coin – Royal Mint | Boxed COA 2267

2024 Star Wars Death Star II – 50p Colour Silver Proof | The Royal Mint

Celebrate the ultimate symbol of the Galactic Empire with this officially licensed 2024 Star Wars Death Star II colour silver proof 50p from The Royal Mint.

The fourth and final coin in The Royal Mint's 2024 Star Wars iconic vehicles and space stations series, this stunning release depicts the unfinished Death Star II in intricate colour, just as it appeared in Return of the Jedi. The design showcases the massive Imperial battle station emerging from space, with its distinctive superlaser dish and unfinished outer structure.

A special lenticular feature on the reverse reveals the emblem of the Galactic Empire and the outline of the Death Star II as the coin is tilted. The obverse features the official portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.

This is the genuine 8g .925 sterling silver colour proof edition, not the standard Brilliant Uncirculated base-metal 50p. Just 7,500 limited-edition presentations were issued.
