The 2026 Norns: Werdanda 1 oz Silver BU is the second release in Germania Mint’s stunning Norns collection, following Urd and continuing the story of the three legendary sisters who control the threads of destiny beneath Yggdrasil.

Werdanda — also known as Verdandi — represents the Present. Her name refers to “that which is happening”, making her the Norn associated with decisions, actions and the constantly changing moment between what has already happened and what is yet to come.

Germania Mint depicts Werdanda seated upon the roots of Yggdrasil, the great World Tree. Her braided hair echoes the threads of fate, while the intricate surrounding detail gives this release the premium, almost medal-like appearance Germania collectors have come to expect.

The reverse features Germania Mint’s distinctive double-headed eagle, surrounded by Yggdrasil’s roots and the threads of destiny. Broken threads represent the ability to break free from the past and influence what comes next through decisions made in the present. 

With a worldwide mintage of just 5,000 pieces, this is considerably more limited than mainstream bullion and is aimed squarely at collectors who want premium silver with genuine presentation and a continuing series behind it.
